Pick the Right Credit Card

The Citibank Diamond Preferred Rewards Card offers an opportunity to get into the ThankYou network of rewards redemption. The ThankYou network is one of the more prevalent rewards networks in existence, with opportunities to get ThankYou points at many different retailers, ranging from Expedia to Barnes and Noble. If you like to get rewards with your credit card, then this is one of the better cards out there.




Pros:

• Getting into the ThankYou Network
• 6,000 points and a $50 gift card when you first sign up
• No annual fee
• The rewards from the ThankYou Network are very wide-ranging

Cons:

• There is a fee to transfer balances into the Diamond Preferred Rewards Card
• Rewards points translate into less than a penny per dollar in return
• Travel points cannot be spent faster than rewards points

All in all, if you’re looking for a rewards card, this is one of the best ones out there. It scores a 7 out of 10.
